Landscape featuring the dwarf larkspur that pops up around Radnor Lake in early April. I LOVE the way this field of violet provides a magical warmth of whimsy and joy when walking through the fields. It only lasts a couple weeks, and then it’s gone. This larkspur at Radnor is a special part of what makes me love the lake, so I paint it often. Here, I abstracted it a bit to add movement and mood.
